English Version:
How Do We Get The Sacred Nuts (Ikin Ifa)? And The Reason Why Orunmila Descended Back To Heaven.
Happy Reading!
Good morning my people, how was your night? I wish you all happy weekend.
As we are entering into the earth today may we never disappear on earth ase.
This morning I wish to answer to my colleagues question which says, “is it only opele that Orunmila assigned to be using as a means of divination, what about ikin”?
Yeah! This is a sensible question that am expecting from intelligence people like you.
A sacred nuts are the object that Orunmila used to represent himself after descended to heaven at the bottom of agunka palm tree which have sixteen branches of head while opele is a tool that Orunmila is using for making divination while on the earth.
Ikin( sacred palm nuts) are very respective and have a brighter sight than opele, sacred nuts are best used while consulting for town or community because of his wide sighting.
Let us hear what the holy corpus of Iwori meji said.
Apa ni gboko ntana oso

It cast divined for Orunmila when they said he will never give birth to any child in ife town, when I heard I laughed at them, during this time in otu ife Orunmila was unable to have child and people of otu ife were mockery him, when Orunmila consulted his divination on what he would do that will make him have child, he was advised to offer sacrifice and he complied, then Orunmila gave birth to (omo ni mo bitan ti mo fi nsara) in which we translated to omotara as first child, when omotara became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Aramoko-ekiti, and people were calling him Alara,
Orunmila gave birth to (oro omo ta joro) in which we translated to omotajoro as second child, when omotajoro became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Ijero-ekiti, and people were calling him Ajero
Orunmila gave birth to (omo ni mo bitan ti mo funfun lara gberugberu) in which we translated to Oloyemoyin as third child, when oloyemoyin became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Oye-ekiti, and people were calling him Oloyemoyin
Orunmila gave birth to (omo ni mo bitan ti mo gegi gegi) in which we translated to Alakegi as fourth child, when Alakegi became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Ikeji in ondo state, and people were calling him Alakeji
Orunmila gave birth to (omo ni mo bitan ti mo digi ta loja ejigbomekun) in which we translated to Onitagi olele as fifth child, when Onitagi became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Itaji-ekiti, and people were calling him Onitaji
Orunmila gave birth to ( omo ni mo bitan ti mo nfelu ta loja ejigbomekun) in which we translated to Elejelumope as sixth child, when Elejelumope became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Ijelu-ekiti(the home of esu laalu), and people were calling him Elejelumope
Orunmila gave birth to (omo ni mo bitan ti òrò mi wa gun gege) in which we translated to Owa orangun as seventh child, when Owa orangun became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Ila orangun in osun state, and people were calling him Owa orangun aga
Orunmila gave birth to (omo ni mo bitan ti mo nfawo ta loja ejigbomekun) in which we translated to Olówò lotu ife as last eighth child, when Olówò became popular and rich he was installed as the king of Owo land in ondo state, and people were calling him Olowo of owo
All these eighth children were popular and rich, when it is a day of Orunmila’s festival in otu ife all his children were present and line up according to their seniority, Alara as the first child said “Aboru aboye baba” with respect and honour and Orunmila replied him “Aboye bosise ogbo ato asure iworiwofun” also Ajero, Oloyemoyin, Alakeji, Onitaji, Elejelumope and Owa orangun aga also said “Aboru aboye baba” one after the other with respect and honour and Orunmila replied them “Aboye bosise ogbo ato asure iworiwofun” when it is the turn of their last born Olowo lotu ife he didn’t say anything, then Orunmila asked him that why you didn’t greet me like your elders did? Olowo said father you put on Òdùn cloth I also did, you tied òdùn round your body I also did, you wear brass shoe and I also did, you hold brass staff and I also did, you wear crown and I also did, then an elderly people said that; One king should never portray to another king, when Orunmila heard this word of arrogance from his last born he was very angry, he removed his staff and went to the bottom of sacred palm tree that have sixteen branches of head, since then otu ife was rough and tough, there was a famine, calamity, chaos, infertility, dryness, and suffering all over and people were shouting angrily around community that during the time of Orunmila there were nothing like these, everything was going smoothly and perfectly, when this inconveniences were too much, all the eighth children of Orunmila went for consultation on what they can use to plead to their father that will make him return back home, and they were advised to offer two mouses, two fishes, two goats, two hens and two snails to go and use them to beg their father at the bottom of sacred palm tree that have sixteen branches of head and they complied, when they reached there, they started singing that;
Ifa let us go back home
The son of eníre
The son of enìre
The king of Ado-ekiti town
The deity in delta
The son of tusk that blow the tooth of elephant
The son of two snakes that were running perfectly on the leafs
The son of plenty of palm leafs that waving seriously at the river
The son of new palm frond that white perfectly
The mapo of ijelu
The moba of otun
A short black complexion man of oke ijeti
Ifa let us go back home
Orunmila said am not returning back home, he told them to spread their hands in the front and he put sixteen sacred nuts in the right hand and he put sixteen sacred nuts in the left hand Orunmila told them, when you reach house if you want to have money that is the person you need to consult
If you want to have wife/husband that is the person you need to consult
If you want to have children, long life and all goodnesses that is the person you need to consult
Ifa has gone to olokun’s house without returning back home
Whosoever you see just call him father.
My people, I pray this morning that we shall never experience the aggrieve of Orunmila, our lives will never polluted, may God in his infinite mercy never wear an arrogant cloth in our body ase.
